Attention: Evacuteer.org has finished its training for the 2009 huricane season. We have trained over 250 people representing close to 400. Here’s to having a quiet finish to the 2009 Hurricane Season!
Evacuteer.org has secured its partnership with the American Red Cross of Southern Louisiana (SELA) and will begin official trainings soon! All trainings will be held at the Red Cross site located at 2640 Canal Street.
To date we have trained over 150 people representing nearly 300 when we talk about training group leaders who we focus on “training the trainer”. They will then train their groups.
We are hosing a training session on Saturday, September 19, from 9-2 at the Red Cross (2640 Canal St). Sign up by clicking on “become and evacuteer” at the top of the page.
We are constantly hosting special trainings for our evacuteer.org partner groups. If you are a group or organization that can provide 10 or more evacuteers we will come to you! Send an email to hello@evacuteer.org for more information on partner group trainings.
