As our community changes and evolves, so must our mission.

Evacuteer continues to serve not only as a volunteer agency dedicated to serve Orleans Parish in the event of a mandatory evacuation, but as an all-hazards organization dedicated to serving communities across Southeast Louisiana in the event of a disaster.

We stand with those affected by Hurricanes Harvey and Irma.

Please check this page often for an updated list of resources for:

  • Residents seeking relief or assistance
  • Volunteers seeking service opportunities
  • Donors seeking reputable sites, donation drives, and fundraisers to support

Evacuteers are all over New Orleans! We wish to increase our presence and spread the word about the availability of City Assisted Evacuation and our volunteer services to the community.

No matter the audience, we want everyone to be prepared for a mandatory evacuation. Please contact us if you want us to table at your event, present to your service population about hurricane preparedness, or train your staff as an Evacuteer. Click HERE to fill out our Outreach Request Form! We ask for three weeks of advanced notice for every event.
