Join us! Evacuteer Introductory Training

  • Algiers Regional LIbrary 3014 Holiday Drive New Orleans, LA, 70131 United States

We expect that at least 35,000 New Orleans residents will need to use the City-Assisted Evacuation (CAE) because they do not have the resources available to evacuate themselves and their families. Evacuation volunteers (aka Evacuteers) are the people who make sure that we all get out safely!

Come out to the beautiful Algiers Regional Library on Holiday Drive to find out what we're all about, and what YOU can do to help! Evacuteer staff and volunteers will be there to give you the information you need and answer all of your questions!

 Topics include:

  • Evacuee flow during the CAE
  • Evacuteer roles during both evacuation and re-entry
  • Introduction to leadership and specialist roles
